As soon as you post s job or a temp shift, every available dental professional can view your posting and apply for the shift.

Dental professionals are generally considered and paid as independent contractors, and payments are always made to them directly by Dental Office. Dental professionals are not employees. The preferred payment method is e-transfer on the day of the shift or cheque. Alternatively, offices can always mail the cheque.

There is no fee to dental offices or professionals, and the platform currently serves the industry by providing efficient and fast hiring for temp positions.

We take cancellations seriously. However, it does inevitably happen sometimes. If this happens, the shift is immediately reposted to the system. Any dental professional who cancels a booked shift is blocked from booking further shifts for a period of time. If a second cancellation happens, they are removed from the platform. The extreme seriousness of booking shifts is very clearly emphasized. And just so we’re clear, we take all cancellations very seriously, including cancellations from offices. If your office builds a reputation for cancelling on our dental professionals, we do remove your account from our platform.

Yes, you must have an active license for the particular Dental Professional position you are interested in working in and be in good standing with no derogatory marks.

The office and its patients are counting on you, so cancelled shifts are taken very seriously. As soon as you know, you’ll be unavailable for the shift you’ve committed, and you should contact your employer immediately.

You should also notify Tempify Customer Support immediately by Call/Text about the cancelled shift. Should you cancel shifts two or more times in a 3-month timeframe, your account will be paused and go under review by the verification team. The intent behind pausing the account is to ensure the most optimal conditions for everyone in the Tempify Community.

Not showing up for a shift you are confirmed for and not notifying the office or Tempify of why you are unable to fulfill your temp contract is commonly referred to as a “No call, No Show.” Performing a “No Call, No Show will result in you being blocked from the app indefinitely.

At this time office will directly pay you at the end of the shift. In the future, the platform will facilitate all transactions.

The Dental Office selects an offered hourly rate. If the rate is not your standard working rate, please feel free to counter the offer by requesting the rate you are available to work for directly with the Dental Office.
